The Alliance protects American jobs and enhances the national economy through the pursuit of federal policies that address the unique workforce needs of the seafood community.

In pursuit of our mission we have had many hard-won accomplishments that specifically benefit the seafood industry, rewarding those who work within the regulations and protecting and creating American jobs. We have curtailed shutdowns of the H-2B program, passed beneficial legislation in reference to staggered crossing, returning worker exemption, 3/4 work rule, private wage surveys, and transferred $20 million in staffing funds from H-1B to process temporary labor certifications for H-2B and H-2A .
